Spay & Neuter Service

At Caldwell Animal Hospital, we perform safe and effective spay and neuter procedures for dogs and cats. Spaying or neutering your pet is important for two main reasons. First, it helps curb the amount of dogs and cats that are homeless – millions are euthanized each year for this reason. Second, it has important health and behavioral benefits for your pet. It reduces aggression, and even lowers incidences of some cancers. We take your trust seriously, and will make sure your dog or cat receives truly wonderful and compassionate care.

All the staff is SO nice at Caldwell Animal Hospital, PA. I brought my darling puppy, Teddy to be neutered and have two teeth extracted. The prices were great and the customer service was even better… They all treat you like family and understand your fur babies are more than just animals, they’re family! I’ll definitely be bringing Teddy here from now on! Thank you all again so very much!

Casey

They were so good to our puppy Elsie. It was her first time. They took the time to talk to her and us. Made us feel that they really care about each animal and person. Thank you.

Izzy, Jax and I love all the Doctors and staff. They are always kind and thoughtful. (Especially Charles. Lol!) They have seen my family though happy and very sad events, always with a loving touch. We travel from Fernandina Beach Florida for all our vet visits. Thank you Dr. Rivero, Doctors and staff for over 30 years of caring for my fur babies.

Patty

I have never had someone take the time with my dog that Dr. Rivero did today. He treated her with as much concern as I do everyday and took extra time to give me every bit of advice needed. I left knowing so much!

What To Expect

The first step is to give us a call to schedule your visit!

During your visit, we will ask about your pet’s history, run tests to make sure they are healthy enough for surgery, and explain what happens during the procedure.

During the procedure itself, your pet’s vitals will be monitored by trained professionals, and we will use modern technology to make sure the procedure is safe and effective.

Once your pet is done, we will advise you on after-care instructions, and will answer any questions you might have!
